Stainless steel sieves (wire mesh with frame) as the picture below. These sieves have outer diameter of 732 mm. The frame of the sieve is made up of 12 mm wide and 3mm thick metal strip.
The SS wire net is of AISI SS316 quality and the outer frame may be of SS202 OR any other economical alloy but not mild steel. Stainless steel sieves mesh 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mesh.
Sieve for sifter, with out silicon rubber molding, wire net is either riveted /spot welded / punched with frame. Wire net is stretched and wrinkle free.
The wire mesh must be of very good quality and stretched and tightly fitted (wrinkle free) in the frame.
The sieve will be use to filter powders in the pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.
To fit the wire net with the frame we can use welding or compressed punch or fine rivets. Thickness of the frame including the fasteners is less than 4.5 mm.
